An eBook club for eVERYONE!

Virtual not once but twice over, the Springfield Public Library’s newest Virtual Book Club is delving into YA (Young Adult) Literature. Ryan La Sala’s debut young adult novel ‘Reverie’ will be available for everyone on the Libby app from November 2 to 16 as part of the nationwide #BigLibraryRead before an online book discussion is held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, November 17. ‘Reverie’, described as ‘Inception meets the Magicians” and a “wildly imaginative story about what happens when the secret worlds people hide themselves come to light” follows Kane Montgomery – who can’t remember anything since being pulled half-dead from the river by the police. Now he doesn’t know who to believe or trust as he is pulled into fantastic worlds appearing from nowhere.

“The best thing about this new eBook club is not having a waitlist on Libby for the two weeks prior to the event. Read or listen to the book and then come along and chat about it – or any other books you have read recently,” said Adult Services Librarian Mark Riddle.

For help accessing Reverie or installing Libby, phone the library on 541.726.3766, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

All events are free and open to the community.
