Background

The Springfield Community Development Advisory Committee (CDAC) advises the Springfield City Council on matters related to the City’s housing and community development activities which are funded annually by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Projects funded through CDBG are to serve primarily low and moderate-income residents of the City. The Committee consists of eight members who meet a few times each year, as needed.

The primary purpose of this meeting will be to review and score the recent CDAC Affordable Housing Request for Concepts applications.
