ARRESTED:  Quesenberry, Christopher Thomas – 30 year old male of Springfield



On May 11th at 5:39 p.m. officers with the Springfield Police Department where dispatched to 1415 L Street in Springfield regarding shots being fired.  Several residents in the area reported seeing a male firing a weapon in front of the residence during a dispute with another male.  The suspect retreated into the house prior to police arrival.  

Upon arrival officers surrounded the house and blocked adjacent streets. When Officers were unable to make phone contact, a loud speaker was used to hail to the occupants of the house who were compliant and exited.  The suspect, Quesenberry, had departed the area prior to police arrival.  Three occupants were initially contacted and the residence was secured.  The involved semi-automatic handgun was located on scene and seized.

On May 11th at 9:49 p.m. officers with the Springfield Police Department returned to 1415 L Street where they located Quesenberry.  He was taken into custody without further incident and lodged in the Lane County Jail.  No one was injured during the incident.
