‘Reading Colors Your World’ Summer Reading at the Springfield Public Library
“Reading Colors Your World” during this year’s Summer Reading Challenge with the Springfield Public Library. Readers of all ages can sign up at https://wheremindsgrow.beanstack.org/ to participate. If you have enjoyed one of the Library’s previous reading challenges, you can use the same login information – call the Library for any assistance required. If you have not participated before, sign-up is quick and easy! Check out the Library’s website or YouTube channel for helpful Summer Reading Challenge ‘How-to’ videos.
Kids, Tweens and Teens receive a free book just for signing up, while Adults earn a free book after reading five! Readers can also win great prizes from our very supportive local businesses and organizations. Earn digital raffle tickets by reading as much as you can, completing fun activities and exploring local parks, art and many local businesses. You can also earn raffle tickets by entering the Springfield A to Z art contest. There will be several events held over the summer including guest performers, story times, book clubs and movies. It is a great way to celebrate reading, celebrate Springfield, and spend some time with your family and community talking about some of your favorite books!

‘Leer da color a tu mundo’ Lectura de verano en la Biblioteca Pública de Springfield
‘Leer da color a tu mundo’ en el reto de lectura de verano con la Biblioteca Pública de Springfield. Lectores de todas las edades se pueden registrar en https://wheremindsgrow.beanstack.org/. Si se haya disfrutado en un reto de lectura anterior, se puede usar la misma información de inicio de sesión. Si sea un participante nuevo, la registración es fácil. ¿Preguntas? Se puede marcar 541.726.3766 los lunes a sábado, desde las 10 am hasta las 5 pm. Ofrecemos ayuda en español los lunes y martes entre las 10 am hasta la 1 pm.
Los niños, jóvenes y adolescentes recibirán un libro gratis cuando se registran para el reto. Los adultos ganan un libro gratis después de leer 5 libros. Los lectores tengan la oportunidad de ganar premios de negocios y organizaciones locales. Participantes recibirán entradas a una rifa cuando leen, hagan actividades del reto y exploran parques locales, arte público y pequeños negocios locales. También, se puede recibir una entrada a la rifa cuando se entrega una obra de arte al concurso de arte “Springfield de la A a la Z.” Durante el verano, la biblioteca se ofrecerá eventos gratis como presentaciones de artistas, horas de cuentos, grupos de lectura y cine. ¡Es una excelente oportunidad para celebrar la lectura, celebrar la comunidad de Springfield y pasar un tiempo con su familia, amigos y vecinos compartiendo sus libros favoritos!
