The Springfield Public Library’s 9th Annual Books & Brew event will take place at 6 p.m., Saturday, January 25. This casual and fun event brings community members together among the stacks of the Springfield Public Library to enjoy an evening of games and auction items.

“The Springfield Public Library greatly appreciates the Foundation and is dependent on the funds raised by them to be able to provide the wide variety of programming and services that we currently do,” said Library Director Emily David. “The foundation’s support makes us a better library for our community.”

Food for the event is provided by Carte Blanche Catering, and drinks are provided from Plank Town Brewing Company, Hayworth Estate Wines, 2Towns Ciderhouse and BNF Kombucha. Music will be performed by Butterchuck. A silent auction full of wonderful community donations will take place and auctioneer Sid Vorhees will lead an entertaining live auction with fabulous packages.

Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at https://charityauction.bid/booksandbrew. We hope you can make it, but if your busy schedule doesn’t allow, you can donate directly to the Foundation at https://splforegon.org/donate/. Funds raised by the Foundation support the Springfield Public Library and Springfield Museum services and programs.
