Please join the American Legion Post #40 and the City of Springfield in celebrating veterans at 11 am, Veterans Day, November 11.
The American Legion will be livestreaming a ceremony in recognition and celebration of veterans. Council President Joe Pishioneri will provide remarks and Musician Tom Schwetz will lead us in the National Anthem.
The virtual event will be emceed and hosted by American Legion Post #40 Commander Nick Gillaspie.
We hope you can join us virtually in celebrating those who have answered the call to serve. Limited space is available at American Legion Post #40, located at 344 8th Street in Springfield, for those who would like to attend in person. Face masks and physical distancing must be observed.
