It’s nearing Halloween and time for the annual Trick or Treat at Springfield City Hall event. This free community event is an annual tradition filled with candy, costumes, and magic.

Springfield City Hall is welcoming trick or treaters from 3:30-5 p.m., Thursday, October 31. It’s a great way to enjoy the holiday safely while staying dry. Magician Jay Frasier will provide a free performance in City Hall starting at 4:15 p.m. NEW this year: Oroweat Foods (Franz Bakery) will be providing free grilled cheese to trick or treaters at City Hall.

Springfield residents are encouraged to bring their kids in costume and have fun walking from department to department collecting candy and other goodies.

When: 3:30-5 p.m., Thursday, October 31. Magician Jay Frasier is scheduled to perform at 4:15 p.m. in the City Hall Lobby.

Local partners and City departments will provide additional stops and goodies including Point2Point at Lane Transit District, CASA of Lane County, Springfield Utility District, Willamalane Park and Recreation District, Raven Dental, the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, Castle of Games, Oroweat Foods, Springfield Police, and Development and Public Works.
