Springfield Public Library Closures

The library will be closed Monday, January 21 and close early on Saturday, January 26. Springfield Public Library will be closed on Monday, January 21 to observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The book drop will be open to receive returned items. The library will reopen at 10 a.m., Tuesday, January 22 and resume regular hours.

The library will close early at 3 p.m., Saturday, January 26 to prepare for the Springfield Public Library Foundation’s annual fundraiser, Books & Brew. Those interested in attending the fundraiser may find more information and purchase tickets at: https://e.givesmart.com/events/bEA/.

The library’s regular hours are: Mondays and Tuesdays, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Wednesday-Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. The library is closed Sundays.

Family Fun with Cuentos Bilingual Storytime

Families are invited to interactive stories, music and crafts in Spanish and English

Come to Saturday Cuentos at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 26. Join us as we read Spanish and English language books and play bilingual games, sing songs and do a craft.

Acompáñenos para Cuentos Sabatinos el sábado, el 26 de enero a las 11 a.m. para leer libros en español e inglés, hacer actividades bilingües, juegos y canciones bilingües, y hacer manualidades.
