Escape the Room

Teens, come join us for an escape room experience at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 29 in the Library Meeting Room at Springfield Public Library, 225 5th St., Springfield.

Solve puzzles, decode clues, crack mysteries, and defuse situations. We will set up two escape situations to be worked on in groups as well as a variety of puzzling activities to work on together or individually.

This program is free and intended for teens. Programs at Springfield Public Library are generously supported by the Friends of Springfield Library.

Teen Entrepreneurs: Brainstorm, Explore, Analyze, Market

Do you dream of starting your own business? Maybe you want to build skills to convince others that your ideas are the best! Teens in grades 9-12, come join us for a series of entrepreneurship workshops every Thursday from January 31-February 28 at Springfield Public Library, 225 5th St., Springfield. The kick-off session will be from 2-4 p.m., January 31 (high schools are off in Springfield that day), with the following four sessions from 4:30-6 p.m. February 7, 14, 21, and 28.

Research and envision a product to sell in Springfield Public Library. Learn how to start your own business from local business expert, Shane Johnson from RAIN Eugene. Build the skills to convince others that your ideas/products are worth buying!

No experience is necessary, all skill levels welcome.

This is a series of programs and attendance at all days is required, as is preregistration. Call the library or come in to pre-register today. This program is free and intended for teens in grades 9-12. Programs at Springfield Public Library are generously supported by the Friends of Springfield Library.
