We invite families to join Springfield Public Library for a week of virtual STEM events and special giveaways between March 20 and March 27. For more details on all events see wheremindsgrow.org/events.

Virtual Author Visit:

Rosanne Parry, author of A Wolf Called Wander, joins us via Zoom at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 20 for a discussion and Q&A. Attendance prizes available. This event is generously sponsored by the Springfield Utility Board.

Non-Fiction Book Giveaway:

Intended for readers in grades K through 5, we’re offering a window each day, March 20 through 27, during which readers can come and select a free, non-fiction book to keep. Readers may choose one book over the course of the week. Rumor has it there may be a dinosaur at the Saturday giveaways! This giveaway is generously sponsored by the Springfield Utility Board.

STEM Dinosaur Kit Giveaway:

Request a special activity kit, funded and developed by the Museum of Natural and Cultural History, at our curbside pickup service all week! Great for preschool and elementary school, this activity kit explores the ancient critters of Oregon.

Virtual Events:

Join us for Virtual Storytime at 10 a.m., Wednesday March 24 and Virtual Lego Club at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, March 25. Both events will be held on Zoom.
