A PUBLIC HEARING OF THE SPRINGFIELD PLANNING COMMISSION WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY FEBRUARY 5, 2019 AT 7:00 P.M.; AND A PUBLIC HEARING OF THE SPRINGFIELD CITY COUNCIL WILL BE HELD ON MONDAY MARCH 18, 2019 AT 7:00 P.M. BOTH HEARINGS WILL BE HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS, SPRINGFIELD CITY HALL, 225 FIFTH STREET, SPRINGFIELD, OREGON, TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING PROPOSAL:Type I Metro Plan Amendment and concurrent Zoning Map Amendment

 

Type I Metro Plan Amendment and concurrent Zoning Map Amendment. Proposal to amend the adopted Metro Plan diagram to change the zoning designation for three contiguous parcels from Low Density Residential (LDR) to High Density Residential (HDR). Concurrent with the Metro Plan amendment, the proposal would amend the Gateway Refinement Plan and Springfield Zoning Map to change the zoning and comprehensive plan designation for the parcels from LDR to HDR. The properties subject to this proposal comprise approximately 2.63 acres and are located at 3535 Game Farm Road and 377 & 385 Deadmond Ferry Road (Assessor’s Map 17-03-15-40, Tax Lots 2300–2500). The Planning case numbers for the applications are 811-18-000234-TYP4 (Metro Plan amendment) and 811-18-000235-TYP3 (Zoning Map amendment).

The criteria for Metro Plan amendment can be found in Section 5.14-135 of the Springfield Development Code, and the criteria for Zoning Map amendment can be found in Section 5.22-115 of the Springfield Development Code (SDC).
