The whole family is invited to celebrate El día de los niños, El día de los libros/Children’s Day, Book Day at the Springfield Public Library from 1- 4 p.m., Saturday April 27.

All youth who attend can receive a free book! There will be many fun crafts, games and activities for children to do as well as performances by Alma de México folclórico dance, students from the dual immersion program at Guy Lee Elementary School, the Learning Littles group, Springfield High Millers Mariachi de Sol and the Danza Azteca dance group from Salem. The Springfield Public Library is located at 225 5th Street, inside City Hall.
