*Please note that effective April 1, 2013 the Springfield City Council approved a fee increase to Building and Safety and selected fees in Planning Services, Fire Life and Safety, Engineering Services and General fees, which also includes Business licensing (except Liquor).

 
  The city has many different types of permits for residential and commercial development and for all other types of building projects. You can find the most common permits, submittal requirements, informational forms and fees on this site.
  They are presented as downloadable pdf (Adobe Acrobat) documents. In order to view or print the forms you must have the Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.
Licensed Contractors may apply for some electrical, plumbing and residential mechanical permits ONLINE through BuildingPermits.Oregon.gov.
