Our Place in Space

Kids and families are invited to the Springfield Public Library at 6 p.m., Monday, July 1 to experience Our Place in Space, presented by the Museum of Natural and Cultural History. Ever wonder how Earth fits in among the planets, stars, and galaxies? Through science experiments and other fun activities, you’ll explore what makes our planet so special and learn how we can keep it that way. This program is designed to complement the Collaborative Summer Library Program’s 2019 theme, A Universe of Stories.

This event is part of our Summer Reading Program: A Universe of Stories. Our program is generously funded by the Cressey Family Charitable Trust, the Ready to Read Grant managed by the State Library of Oregon, Joan Gray & Harris Hoffman, the Friends of the Springfield Public Library, the Springfield Arts Commission, and the Springfield Utility Board.
