If King of Horror Vincent Price offered you $10,000 to spend a night in a haunted house would you accept it? At 6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 20, SpringFilm will host a watch party of 1959’s campy, supernatural horror film ‘House on Haunted Hill’, followed by a lively discussion. When five guests are invited by eccentric millionaire (Price) to receive $10,000 to last a whole night in a haunted house a litany of surprises, horrors and betrayals are unleashed upon them. The film, which has had several remakes, was also noted for the use of the ‘Emergo’ gimmick, where a skeleton with red eyes was sent flying through the air above cinema patrons.
