The City maintains standard specifications for construction of public facilities. All public improvements are required to conform to these specifications. The Standard Construction Specification document is available for purchase at the Development and Public Works Department, 225 Fifth Street, Springfield,OR 97477 for a fee of $40.00.

The copy of the standard specifications posted here may not reflect all recent changes to the specifications. Users should always verify important details by consulting the City's Development and Public Works Department at 541-726-3753.

The specifications are organized under five general categories, listed below. For each category there is a detailed table of contents which will allow the user to select a specific portion of the specifications. Although users are encouraged to download and print sections of the specifications for their use, any resale of copies of the specifications is strictly prohibited.
