* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Results from the May 15, 2012 Primary Election.for the positions of Mayor, City Councilor Ward 1, City Councilor Ward 3, City Councilor Ward 4 and City Councilor Ward 6 are listed below.
The terms for those receiving the majority of votes in the Primary for the positions of Mayor and City Councilors for Ward 3, 4 and 6 will commence at the first Council meeting in January 2013 and expire on December 31, 2016. The term for the candidate receiving the majority of votes for the Ward 1 Council position will commence at the first Council meeting in January 2013 and expire on December 31, 2014.
Results from the November 6, 2012 General Election for Springfield Utility Board (SUB) Positions 1 and 5 are listed below:
The terms for the SUB positions will commence on January 1, 2013 and expire December 31, 2016.

Registering to Vote: You may register to vote at any time. However, your voter registration card must be postmarked no later than the 21st day before the election at which you intend to vote. For the November 6, 2012 General Election, the deadline to register is October 16, 2012. Registration Cards are available at Lane County Elections,
the City Recorder's Office at the City of Springfield, and other locations
